Welcome to RSSB’s Industry Shared Risk Database  (ISRD)

The Industry Shared Risk Database identifies those shared risk areas which require a collaborative approach to risk control, clarifying the types of operators involved and suggests the most likely duty holder responsible for each main risk area.

The value and benefit provided by the Industry Shared Risk Database, is that for the first time there is cross-industry agreement and a documented understanding of responsibilities in relation to shared risk to help facilitate the cooperative management of safety.

It is hoped that it will assist you in the writing of Safety Management Systems and company procedures and should also help those who write accident investigation reports.
